The Western Reserve Heritage Association
You are on the "Home" page.
The Western Reserve Heritage Association promotes and preserves the culture and history of the Connecticut Western Reserve region of Northeastern Ohio.
The Connecticut Western Reserve (commonly referred to now as merely the "Western Reserve") was set aside for the State of Connecticut in the late 1700s. Read more by clicking on the "History" tab.
Western Reserve Culture includes agriculture such as wineries and other farmland, Amish culture, remarkable "New England" style architecture, and Maple Syrup production. Read more by clicking on the "Culture" tab.
Listing all of the very interesting events on this website would be an enormous task. Events sponsored by this Association are listed here, under the "Events" tab, and certain popular festivals that represent Western Reserve History or Culture are shown. County Tourism Councils are listed under Links for more information on local events.
The Western Reserve Heritage Association will begin to offer local culture and history tours such as Amish Culture Tours and local Historical Tours. Click on the Events tab for details.
Under the "Maps & Photos" tab, you will see not only a current interactive map, but also historical maps of the Western Reserve. Photos are from around the area. If you would like your photos relating to the Western Reserve to be posted here, please contact us.
The Western Reserve Heritage Assocation will be a membership-driven not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We welcome your membership! Please click on the Membership tab for details on Member benefits. If you wish to contact us for any reason, please click the "Contact Us" tab.
The Western Reserve Heritage Association will be in operation in mid-2010. Details are being finalized.
